Thermofogging
Treatment to prevent potatoes from sprouting during storage period.
Every year, tonnes of potatoes are lost because they have sprouted.This problem mainly arises when they are stored for too long.
Prevention of sprouting by combining thermofogging with cold storage is the ideal solution for storing your potatoes.This technique consists of turning the liquid product into gas at a very high temperature. This gas is sprayed in the storage area (shed) and then carried by the ventilation system so that it reaches all the potatoes.
Advantages of thermofogging
- Better distribution of the product on the tubers (the most uniform system)
- Dosage easy to adjust (application of the required dose for the period in question)
