General training on Human Health Risk Assessment of a biocidal product in order to submit a BPR dossier or to validate its sustainability in the frame of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).

- How to characterize the risk and conclude on the acceptability or the non-acceptability of a risk
- How to proceed with the tiered approach
- How to propose refinement(s) (PPE, inputs and models, RMM,…)
Public and prerequisites
- Any actor needing to assess the human health risk related to a biocidal product.
- Basic knowledge in BPR regulation is an asset.

Day 1: Global approach with explanation and review of the sources of information and tools
- Part 1 – Introduction: BPR requirements & Risk Assessment approach
- Part 2 – Hazard assessment: Active substances & Substances of Concern profiles
- Part 3 –Exposure assessment related to the label of the biocidal product

Day 2: More detailed procedure based on practical cases
